Duʿāʾ For Provision/Wealth
Wealth in Islām is considered a blessing from Allah, it is also seen as a test. Muslim are encouraged to:
- Earn ḥalāl wealth
- Use wealth wisely
- Avoid extravagance
- Give Zakāh (charity)
To seek for provision/wealth, endeavor to say: "Allahumma urzuqnī rizqan ḥalālan ṭayyiban mubārakan" "Oh God, grant me a good and blessed ḥalāl livelihood".
Duʿāʾ to Overcome Poverty
To seek for Allah's blessing, wealth, provision, mercy and to overcome poverty, endeavor to recite: "Allahumma ikfinī bi ḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmika wa agninī bi faḍlika ʿamman siwāka" "Oh Allah suffice me with what you have allowed from what you have forbidden, and make me independent of all others beside You".
